Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 15, 2026

Rivometry is designed to help Shopify merchants monitor supported competitor storefronts. This policy describes the current MVP design. Public rollout and some provider integrations remain subject to separate review.

What Rivometry uses

  • A random anonymous installation ID and deletion capability kept in extension storage.
  • The normalized HTTPS origin of a storefront when you choose Track Store; not page contents, cookies, browsing history, paths, queries, or fragments.
  • Normalized snapshots and meaningful change evidence needed for monitoring, with a maximum of 500 products per snapshot.
  • An optional normalized email and opaque session token only if you choose account claim. One-time codes are not stored in raw form.

Why and where

These data support tracking, first-value presentation, account continuity, plan limits, and optional product measurements. Server-side records are held in Cloudflare Worker/D1 infrastructure. Optional analytics, email, billing, and AI providers are not configured as live services by this site.

Your choices

Clearing extension storage removes local identifiers and tokens. Server-side deletion paths are designed to preserve shared competitor evidence while removing owned state, but their public operational process is not yet enabled. Contact support with questions before relying on deletion as an immediate production service.

Updates

This policy will be updated before any broader public rollout or Chrome Web Store submission. We do not sell personal information.
